5 Tips for Buying Gifts on Fathers Day
Fathers love to be appreciated on Father’s Day and flowers are a great way to show that appreciation.
Father’s Day is coming up soon – 20th June 2021 – but what should you get your dad? If he has a passion for flowers and plants, or even gardening, then a beautiful Father’s day flower bouquet or plant will be the perfect gift this year. And a gorgeous gift set of a bouquet alongside alcohol, chocolates, or something else often goes down a treat.
Here are five of our favourite tips to help you buy flowers this Father's Day.
Tip #1: Make sure to buy your gift early!
Buying a present more than a week in advance gives you the time to look for the perfect item, as well as the knowledge that you won't be being rushed.
If you're buying for flowers to be delivered on Sunday June 20th, then make sure to order your flowers well in advance so that they arrive on time!
We at Fleur de Luxe offer next day delivery on all of our bouquets and gift sets, and even same day delivery on some days in the Birmingham area.
If you want to order from us but want reassurance we can deliver on time, just give us a call and we'll help put your mind at ease, and help you with any of your other gift-buying questions for us.
Tip #2: Choose a gift set
If you're buying flowers for someone who has everything, why not get them a gift set?
From chocolates to accessories, gather all things that your father likes and pack them beautifully into a basket. Gift this lovely gift to him on his special day and watch the million-dollar smile on his face. You can even order mesmerising fathers day flowers and present them along with flowers to make it treasurable.
Whatever your budget or whatever your dad or grandfather may like, there is something to suit everyone on our website. And as well as getting these items delivered quickly - they also come beautifully hand tied and wrapped too.
Tip #3: Go for something unique
As with all presents, try and get something that says something unique about the person you are buying for.
If your dad is a wine connoisseur, then buy him some of his favourite brew. For the avid golfer, purchase new golf balls or clubs to upgrade their game.
Tip #4: Don't break the bank
This might sound counterintuitive to some – if you really love someone, why wouldn't you spend lots of money on them to get a great gift?
In fact, an amazing present often isn't tied to a high price tag. Acknowledge your dad and give him something you know he will love by purchasing the perfect gift, even if it's not expensive.
For instance, do a DIY project with him that you both enjoy or send his favourite book for Father's Day.
Tip #5: Remember, it's the thought that counts
Yes, a gift needs to be thoughtful. But don't get lost searching for something absolutely perfect in every way.
Find a present that will make your dad happy and that you are comfortable spending money on, and something they will love.
